I’ve been a secondary school data manager for the past 10 years. It definitely has been an interesting time to be in the constant evolving world that is education! During that time, I have held data manager positions in 2 secondary school academies. My current school has more than 1700 pupils with a large 6th Form provision. Experienced at developing & maintaining school data management systems including the school MIS, whole school timetable, admissions, student target setting, progress reporting, exam administration and course management. I am skilled in many school software/systems and government websites and am passionate about improving data management with schools and putting your data to work for you. Before joining the education sector, I was a senior IT manager at IBM responsible for reducing cost and business risk in IT operations. Light the blue touch paper

Yesterday we had a meeting with medical representatives with regards mum’s prescribed meds that left my sister and I raging.

I won’t go into specifics today as we don’t know what follow up action will be taken yet.

In my view, the other party came with an agenda and it was going to be his way or the highway. There was no empathy, pragmatism and an unwillingness to work towards a solution would work for all.

At one point in the meeting, he said “I don’t want to be aggressive but ….”. OMG did you just say that? Light the blue touch paper – let’s go 🤬

My birth sign is Scorpio and I have a sting in my tail. You don’t want to get on the wrong side of me!

Mess with a Jons family member at your peril. We will repel all attacks and get medieval on your ass.

After the meeting, had to get some fresh air so walked from Lock 18 to Lock 17.

    You know T and I both have had our elder care challenges in the past years. T for much longer than me. There definitely seem times when the system seems to work against you not with you. Hang on in there!
