The Bipolar Lock keeper

My name is Graham and I have a superpower called Bipolar Disorder (BD) Type 2.

I have returned to the North West (Todmorden, West Yorks) after 35 years down South.

I have bought a lovely house by The Rochdale Canal. Both the house and location have the WOW Factor. I live with my younger son (23).

This blog is about how I deal with the BD highs & lows given the stresses in my life.

Be Still My Beating Heart ❤️

Up early to beautiful sunny morning with clear blue skies.

When the sun shines here, I don’t think there is anywhere else in the world I’d rather be. Everything I need is or on my doorstep. 🏡

  • Hills & Moors ✅
  • Beautiful walks ✅
  • Stunning views ✅
  • Local produce/Market town ✅
  • 3 Supermarkets ✅
  • Vinyl shops ✅
  • Good cafes, pubs & restaurants
  • Easy Access to Manchester & Leeds ✅

Walked to Morrison’s along the canal and back up Dobroyd Road to catch the hillside views.

Loved the stillness, it is very calming.
